We mark November 4, 2011 as the 10-year anniversary of the beginning of Individual U. as we’ve come to know it today. Ten years ago, Dr. Susan Krausz, a psychoanalyst in New York, asked Dr. Rudin to help her son, a high school student who was struggling with an introductory physics class. Dr. Rudin met with the young man and came to understand that his difficulties were due in part to underlying learning issues. As a result of this mentoring relationship, Dr. Rudin became interested in the experiences of other students struggling with diagnosed and undiagnosed learning challenges. The rest has been our 10-year history!
